Walking down the muddy, pitted trail in the dim, blue light to reach the Queen's Bath before sunrise with one of our couples, Maggie and Nate, none of us could contain our excitement.

Kaua'i didn't disappoint when we had the chance to visit and shoot two couples there.

We shared a sunrise and sunset with Maggie and Nate, ending with a glittering view of the sun falling behind the ocean from the Kalalau trail.

The next day was nothing but a continuous storm with heavy heavy rain and fog, but Jaymi and Danny were trusting enough to go with us and see what we could see in Waimea Canyon. We think the 15 mins we did get to spend with them before they got completely and utterly soaked were beyond everything we could have hoped for. Jaymi and Danny both were mezmerising and the canyon looked unearthly.

We feel so lucky we were able to shoot both of these couples.
